We have been there for a 12 days holiday. Our friend Christian who is a manager one of the leader resort in Thailand has recomend for us the Zazen. He said the Zazen will be the resort where you and your family could find the perfect place with the perfect hospitality.
Now when I'm sitting in my office I know that was a really good choice. I can recomend the Zazen for everybody!!! |

We fell in love with Zazen. There were of course things that were not perfect, for instance was the beach small when the tide was high - but - the staff, the food, (all tastes are satisfied), the ambience, the feeeling of beeing cared for was excellent.
Zazen is for us a world of calm and relaxation, and beaty in the midst of crowded and larming community of Samui. You can have both parts according to your own wish.
We hope to come back one day. |

After we (my Firend Timo Zell) and I returend safely to good (c)old Germany, I´d like to post a comment here.
We stayed in in ZAZEN the second half of september having a rest from the Hong-Kong/Bangkok/Koh Samui-Trip. While in Germany the coloures in the woods turned, we enjoyed the beautiful water, the excellent food and the relaxing massages of the care taking employes! So, why retruning to Germany? That is as qestion, we keep on asking our selves from time to time. Answer: To make some money for a soon return.
Normally we are exploring guys. Doing tours rom time to time, but in Zazen, we totally forgot that habit! We had so much fun in enjoying the calm atmosphere. Other words for, staying home!!!!
Thanks a lot for being such excellent hosts!!!

Stephen and I had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Zazen. From the very start the professionalism of the staff made us feel sure that even though we were planning a wedding from so far away, all of what we were looking for would happen. It was so easy, the whole wedding was organised over a few e-mails and when we arrived, everything that was promised was delivered with professionalism and a personal touch that we could not hope for at a bigger resort. Zazen was an absolutely beautiful place for the ceremony, the accommodation beautiful, the attention to detail fantastic and the food spectacular! Zazen staff were involved in the ceremony and made us feel like part of the family, it was truly a magical day! We can't wait to visit our tree, planted during the ceremony, on our next visit to Zazen. We would highly recommend Zazen for your wedding!

Dear Zazen,
We had a very good stay at your place. Everything was just perfect: the room, service, breakfast, restaurant, spa, even the weather to our relief... We also enjoyed the companionship of the fish in the bathroom, Blue and Whisky.
We got to try out all types of room due to the late booking which was fun. Too bad we could only stay one night in the beach bungalow, our favorite.
We will definitely consider Zazen the next time we go to Thailand and tell our friends about your beautiful resort.

| After returning from China (where we went after leaving Samui) to a cold and now wet England, I am sending you a very belated but heartfelt thank you for making our daughter’s wedding day so magical. All the staff at the Zazen where very polite and helpful and always had a big smile on their faces which was very much appreciated. We can't thank Yannick and Chef Wally enough for all the organization and preparation of the food which was excellent. The ' entry ' of the wedding cake to the music was great and still talked about by those who came to the wedding. Everybody who came had a wonderful time and many say that those who could not make it to Samui and the Zazen really missed a treat. Last but not least, I would like to say a very big thank you to Ame, her help, organization and guidance really made the day for all of us. I am not sure if you are aware but Rachel and Phil did not choose to have a Buddhist Wedding on a whim. Phil was brought up Catholic; Rachel is not which could have caused a few problems. They looked into the Buddhist ceremony as they still both wanted a spiritual wedding, the sentiments, belief and wording of the ceremony were more in tune with how they feel, it was the obvious choice. Anyway thank you all so much and also to all the people behind the scene that we did not see, (whoever sewed all those orchids onto the mosquito net). I hope you have a prosperous season.
